The Chamber conducts approximately 50 networking events with AfterHours, Mixers, BeforeHours, Speed Networking, Luncheons, and more. Relationships are created in face-to-face settings. Do not miss the chance to network with other civic minded business professionals. Programs:
The Chamber hosts professional development seminars, public policy forums, workshops, and events to keep our membership informed and engaged in our regional business community. Print Promotion:
The Chamber prints 15,000 Great Lake Living Relocation Magazines annually with a complete categorical listing of our membership. ALL Chamber members receive a 10% discount on advertisement opportunities in the magazine. The magazine also appears as a Flip Book on both the Chamber and CURRENTS Website. Online Promotion:
The Chamber unveiled a new website in 2019 at LakeNormanChamber.org that has an online directory listing of Chamber Membership. Alphabetical and Categorical. Communication:
Email blasts occur several times a week to over 3,200 contacts, highlighting Chamber Members and activities. In addition, the Chamber can promote Members through social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Referrals:
The Chamber refers members though email, telephone, and personal recommendations. We also have a business card and brochure display in the Lake Norman Visitors Center which allows member businesses to display their business cards and brochures. Advertisement opportunities are also available on the display and kiosk. Ribbon Cuttings/Ground Breaking:
The Chamber coordinates Ribbon Cuttings and Ground Breakings for new businesses or current business who have changed management or renovated. The Chamber supplies the photographer, ribbon, scissors, notifies elected officials and sends a press release to the media and promotes it on the Chamber’s website and social media. Discounts:
The Chamber offers significant discounts on Office Supplies/Printing/Machines/Furniture through a partnership with Office Depot. The LKN Chamber is currently working on an Association Healthcare Plan and other Discounts for our members.

Conference Room: The Randy Marion Board Room is available at a nominal charge.

Access to Elected Officials:
The Chamber can provide our membership with access to our elected leadership: local, county, state and federal offices. Support on Issues/Concerns:
The Chamber advocates on behalf of our membership. Whether it is a local rezoning issue or a county, state, federal matter. We are the Voice of Business!
